Two days ago my website was hacked and my site had to be shut down until this matter was repaired. How unfortunate! Several days ago, I received two random emails from people stating that my website was hacked and “phishing” had occurred from some bank in the U.K. A bank in the U.K.? What does a bank, especially in the U.K., have to do with me?— and I DON’T PHISH! I thought this was some kind of spam mail and I disregarded the emails. On February 16, my site was compromised and was shut down for the last two days.
 

What is Phishing? 

“A phishing attack is an attempt to steal Internet users personal identity data and/or financial or ecommerce account information. The term ‘phishing’ arises from the use of increasingly sophisticated lures to ‘fish’ for users’ financial information and passwords. Phishing schemes use ‘spoofed’ e-mail messages to lead consumers to counterfeit websites designed to trick recipients into divulging financial data such as credit card numbers, account usernames, passwords and social security numbers.

In short, your website is being used to commit crimes against innocent people. It is possible that a third party was able to gain access to your website, without your knowledge, in order to upload these files and initiate this abusive action.”

This is a warning to all and I don’t wish this on anyone especially if your website is part of your lifeline for employment.

Rosa`maria and I had met each other several years ago and she is also a fellow photographer. I told her

sometime last year that I would love to photograph her, but with both our busy schedules, January of this

year was the first opportunity we had to get together to take these beautiful portraits of her. The portrait on

the bottom right is titled: La Señora Elegante.

Shawna was also a model for a group of photographers at the studio. And when it came to my time to do her shoot, I just whipped this French twist in under 10 minutes. Let’s just say Shawna was totally amazed and didn’t know I was a photographer who also knew how to do hair.

Alysa photographed with us, but didn’t make it to the fashion show. Quite some time have past, so I can’t remember the details clearly. I believe her agent/agency didn’t want her hair color to change drastically …and we needed to do dramatic changes with specific models for certain themes for the show!

Aziza was part of the charity fashion show benefiting the SGKBCF. At this shoot, there were over 15 models present, hair was done at the salon, a handful of assistants came to help including co-producer Rachel, and only me as the photographer. Let’s just say, I was busy between doing hair, coordinating the team and photographing all of the models.
